Setup
1. Inserting the Micro SD Card
- Locate the Micro SD Slot on the side of the camera.
- Gently insert the provided 8GB Micro SD card into the slot until it clicks into place. Ensure the card is oriented correctly.
- To remove, press the card inward until it springs out.
Note: A high-speed (Class 10 or higher) Micro SD card is recommended for optimal recording performance. Format the card in the camera's settings before first use.
2. Charging the Battery
- Connect the camera to the Car Charger or a USB power source using the provided USB Cable.
- The charging indicator light will illuminate.
- Allow the camera to charge fully before first use.
3. Mounting the Camera
The CL-3016WK offers multiple mounting options for various uses:

- For Car Use (Dash Cam):
- Attach the Suction Cup Car Mount to the camera.
- Clean the desired area on your windshield.
- Press the suction cup firmly against the windshield and engage the lever to secure it.
- Adjust the camera angle for an optimal view of the road.
- Connect the Car Charger to the camera and your vehicle's 12V power outlet. The camera is designed for auto on/off with vehicle ignition.
- For Sports/Action Use:
- Insert the camera into the Waterproof Case for protection during outdoor activities or underwater use.
- Attach the Waterproof Case to the Helmet Mount, Bike Mount, or Curved Adhesive Mount as needed.
- Secure the mount to your helmet, bicycle, or other desired surface.
Operating Instructions
1. Powering On/Off
- Manual On: Press and hold the Power Button until the screen illuminates.
- Manual Off: Press and hold the Power Button until the screen turns off.
- Auto On/Off (Car Mode): When connected to your vehicle's power supply, the camera will automatically power on and begin recording when the vehicle starts, and power off when the vehicle is turned off.
2. Switching Modes
Press the Mode Button repeatedly to cycle through the following modes:
- Video Recording Mode: Indicated by a camera icon with a red dot. The camera will automatically start recording when powered on in this mode (if auto-record is enabled).
- Photo Mode: Indicated by a camera icon. Press the OK button to capture a photo.
- Playback Mode: Indicated by a play icon. Use the Up/Down buttons to navigate through recorded files and the OK button to play/view.
3. Recording Video

- In Video Recording Mode, the camera will typically start recording automatically. A red blinking indicator on the screen confirms recording is active.
- The camera records in 1080p resolution (MP4 format).
- Loop Recording: The camera records video in continuous loops (e.g., 1, 3, or 5-minute segments). When the SD card is full, the oldest unlocked files are overwritten.
- Accident Detection (G-Sensor): If the camera detects a sudden impact or collision, it will automatically lock the current video file to prevent it from being overwritten.
- SOS Button: Press the SOS button during recording to manually lock the current video file.
4. Taking Photos
- Switch to Photo Mode using the Mode Button.
- Frame your shot using the LCD screen.
- Press the OK Button to capture a 5-megapixel photo.
5. Playback
- Switch to Playback Mode using the Mode Button.
- Use the Up/Down Navigation Buttons to browse through your recorded videos and photos.
