1. Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the heat press from its packaging. Inspect for any shipping damage.
- Placement: Place the heat press on a stable, heat-resistant surface capable of supporting its weight (approximately 48 pounds). Ensure adequate ventilation around the machine.
- Power Connection: Connect the power cord to a standard 110V AC outlet. The unit consumes 1500 watts.
- Initial Inspection: Verify that the Teflon cover is properly placed on the heat platen and the silicone pad on the lower platen. The silicone pad is lightly glued for potential replacement.

2. Operating Instructions
2.1 Power On and Temperature/Time Setting
- Power On: Locate the red power switch on the side of the control box and turn it ON.
- Set Temperature: Press the TEMP button. Use the UP and DOWN arrow buttons to adjust the desired temperature (range: 0-500°F). Press TEMP again to confirm.
- Set Time: Press the TIME button. Use the UP and DOWN arrow buttons to adjust the desired time (range: 0-999 seconds). Press TIME again to confirm.
- Heating: The machine will begin heating to the set temperature. The display will show the current temperature.

2.2 Adjusting Pressure
The pressure can be adjusted using the knob located on top of the heating element. Turn clockwise to increase pressure and counter-clockwise to decrease pressure. Test the pressure by closing the platen without an item to ensure it meets your requirements.

2.3 Heat Transfer Process
- Prepare Item: Place your item (e.g., T-shirt) on the lower platen. The 5.5-inch pull-out lower platen allows for easy loading and positioning.
- Position Transfer: Place your heat transfer material (sublimation paper, HTV, etc.) onto the item. Ensure it is correctly aligned.
- Close Platen: Carefully slide the lower platen back into position. Lower the upper platen using the handle until it locks into place. The timer will automatically begin counting down.
- Completion: Once the set time has elapsed, an audible alarm will sound. Lift the handle to raise the upper platen.
- Remove Item: Slide out the lower platen and carefully remove the transferred item. Allow the item to cool before handling further, as per your transfer material instructions.

3. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Regularly wipe down the exterior of the machine with a soft, dry cloth. For the platens, ensure they are cool before cleaning. Use a non-abrasive cleaner if necessary.
- Teflon Sheet: The included Teflon sheet protects the heating element and your transfer materials. Replace it if it becomes damaged or excessively dirty.
- Silicone Pad: The silicone pad on the lower platen is designed to withstand high temperatures. If it shows signs of wear or damage, it can be replaced.
- Storage: When not in use, store the heat press in a dry, dust-free environment.
