  3. Insert the wheels into the brackets. Ensure they click securely into place.
  4. Return the heater to an upright position.

Placement:

Place the heater on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is at least 3 feet (0.9 meters) of clearance from walls, furniture, and other objects to allow for proper air circulation and prevent fire hazards. Do not place the heater directly under a power outlet.

Operating Instructions

Powering On:

  1. Ensure the heater is properly assembled and placed.
  2. Plug the power cord into a grounded 120V AC electrical outlet.
  3. Turn the thermostat knob (usually the larger one) to the maximum setting.

  5. The power indicator light will illuminate when the heater is on.

Powering Off:

Turn the power setting knob to the "OFF" position. Unplug the heater from the wall outlet when not in use for extended periods.

Maintenance

Cleaning:

  • Always unplug the heater from the wall outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  • Wipe the exterior surfaces of the heater with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Do not immerse the heater in water or allow water to drip into the interior of the heater.
  • Clean the air intake and exhaust vents regularly with a vacuum cleaner attachment to remove dust and lint.

Storage:

When storing the heater, ensure it is completely cool and dry. Utilize the built-in cord storage to wrap the power cord neatly. Store the heater in a cool, dry place, preferably in its original packaging, to protect it from dust and damage.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Heater does not turn on. No power to the unit; Power switch is off; Thermostat set too low; Overheat protection activated; Tip-over switch activated. Check if the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet. Ensure the power setting knob is not in the "OFF" position. Turn the thermostat knob to a higher setting. Unplug, wait 30 mins, then replug. Ensure heater is upright on a flat surface.
Heater is on but not heating. Thermostat set too low; Room temperature is higher than thermostat setting. Increase the thermostat setting. The heater will only activate when the room temperature drops below the set temperature.
Heater shuts off unexpectedly. Overheat protection activated; Tip-over switch activated. Unplug the heater, allow it to cool for 30 minutes, then plug it back in. Ensure the heater is on a stable, flat surface and has proper clearance from obstructions.
Unusual noise or smell. New unit smell (normal for first few uses); Dust accumulation; Internal malfunction. A slight odor is normal for new heaters and will dissipate. Clean the heater as per maintenance instructions. If noise or smell persists or is strong, discontinue use and contact customer service.
