Setup
Installing Batteries
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
- Slide the battery compartment cover downwards or outwards to open.
- Insert two (2) AAA batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the markings inside the compartment.
- Replace the battery compartment cover by sliding it back into position until it clicks securely.
The remote control requires AAA batteries (not included). Ensure new batteries are used for optimal performance.

Operating Instructions
This replacement remote control is designed for simple, direct use with compatible Sceptre televisions.
Basic Operation
- Point the remote control directly at the infrared receiver on your Sceptre TV.
- Press the desired function button (e.g., Power, Volume Up/Down, Channel Up/Down, Input).
Initial Use / Troubleshooting (If Remote Does Not Respond)
The remote should work immediately upon installing new batteries. If the remote does not respond to your Sceptre TV after installing new batteries, perform the following step:
- Simultaneously press and hold the ENTER button and the DIGITAL 1 button for a few seconds. This action may switch the remote's operating mode to ensure compatibility with your specific Sceptre TV model.
This remote is specifically for Sceptre TVs and is not compatible with DVD players or soundbars.

Maintenance
