6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your router, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- No Signal/Poor Signal:
- Ensure the SIM card is correctly inserted and activated.
- Relocate the router to an area with better mobile network coverage.
- Consider using external antennas (if available and supported by your model) to boost signal reception.
- Check the network mode indicator on the router.
- No Internet Access:
- Verify your SIM card has an active data plan.
- Check the APN (Access Point Name) settings in the web management interface. These are usually auto-configured but may require manual entry for some providers.
- Restart the router and your connected devices.
- Wi-Fi Connection Issues:
- Ensure Wi-Fi is enabled on the router and your device.
- Verify the Wi-Fi password.
- Reduce the distance between your device and the router, or remove obstacles.
- Check if too many devices are connected (maximum 32 users).
- Web Management Interface Inaccessible:
- Ensure your device is connected to the router via Wi-Fi or Ethernet.
- Verify the correct IP address (e.g., 192.168.8.1) is entered in the browser.
- Clear your browser's cache or try a different browser.
- Perform a factory reset if all else fails (see Section 5.3).
