4. Setup Instructions

  1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
  2. Attach Legs: Securely attach the three detachable legs to the base of the grill body. Ensure they are firmly locked into place for stability.
  3. Prepare Water Compartment: Before cooking, pour a small amount of water into the integrated water compartment at the bottom of the grill body. This helps collect grease and makes cleaning easier.
  4. Connect Gas Cartridge: Ensure the control knob is in the 'OFF' position. Screw the Campingaz CV 300 Plus or CV 470 Plus valve gas cartridge onto the appliance's gas connection until hand-tight. Do not overtighten.
  5. Leak Check: Apply a soapy water solution to the gas connection point. If bubbles appear, there is a leak. Tighten the connection or replace the cartridge if necessary. Do not proceed until any leaks are resolved.
  6. Place Cooking Surface: Choose between the pan support or the grilling grid and place it securely on top of the grill body.

5. Operating Instructions

  1. Ignition: With the gas cartridge connected and the cooking surface in place, push and turn the control knob counter-clockwise to the 'IGNITE' position. You should hear a click as the piezo igniter sparks. The burner should light immediately.
  2. Adjust Flame: Once lit, adjust the flame intensity by turning the control knob. Turn clockwise to decrease the flame and counter-clockwise to increase it.
  3. Cooking: Place your cookware on the pan support or food directly on the grilling grid. Monitor cooking progress and adjust heat as needed.
  4. Shut Down: To turn off the appliance, turn the control knob fully clockwise to the 'OFF' position. Ensure the flame is extinguished.
