Setup
1. Attaching the Cable
- Align the connector on the cable with the receptacle on the earpiece. The connectors are designed to fit in only one orientation.
- Gently push the connector into the earpiece until it clicks securely into place. Ensure a firm connection to prevent signal loss.
- To detach, firmly grasp the earpiece and the cable connector, then pull them apart. Do not pull on the cable itself.

2. Choosing and Installing Eartips
Selecting the correct eartip size is crucial for sound quality, bass response, and noise isolation. Experiment with the included silicone and Comply foam eartips to find the best fit for your ears.
- Silicone Eartips: Available in XS, S, M, L sizes. Provide a comfortable fit and good seal.
- Comply Foam Eartips: One pair of M-size Comply foam eartips is included. These expand to fill the ear canal, offering superior isolation and a secure fit.
- Gently remove the pre-installed eartips by pulling them off the nozzle.
- Select your desired eartip size and type. For foam tips, compress the foam before inserting.
- Push the new eartip onto the nozzle until it is securely seated.

3. Wearing the Headphones
The ATH-E70 headphones are designed to be worn with the cable looping over your ears for a secure and comfortable fit, especially during active use or extended listening sessions.
- Identify the left (L) and right (R) earpieces.
- Gently loop the cable segment over the top of each ear.
- Insert the earpieces into your ear canals. Adjust them until you achieve a comfortable and snug seal. The flexible memory cable segments can be molded to fit the contour of your ears.

Operating Instructions
Connecting to Audio Devices
The ATH-E70 headphones feature a 3.5mm (1/8") stereo mini-plug, compatible with most portable music players, smartphones, and computer headphone outputs. For professional audio equipment with 6.3mm (1/4") jacks, use the included plug-on adapter.
- Ensure the volume on your audio device is set to a low level before connecting the headphones.
- Insert the 3.5mm mini-plug into your device's headphone jack.
- If connecting to a 6.3mm jack, attach the 6.3mm adapter to the 3.5mm mini-plug, then insert into the device.
