4. Setup

4.1 Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the scale.

4.4 Initial Calibration

Before first use or after moving the scale, perform an initial calibration:

1. Gently tap the scale surface with your foot to turn it on.
2. Wait for the display to show '0.0' or '0.00'.
3. The scale is now calibrated and ready for use.

5.1 Taking a Measurement

1. Ensure the scale is on a hard, flat surface.
2. Step onto the scale with bare feet, centering your weight. The scale will automatically turn on due to its step-on technology.
3. Stand still until your weight is displayed and stabilizes. The scale will beep three times and hold the number on the display for easy viewing.
4. Step off the scale. The display will remain on for a few seconds before automatically turning off.
