  1. Main Unit: Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the main unit. Insert the required batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-). Close the cover securely.
  2. Outdoor Sensor: Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the outdoor sensor. Insert the required batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-). Close the cover securely.

2. Placement

  • Main Unit: Place the main unit indoors, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, or drafts that could affect temperature readings. It can be placed on a tabletop using its integrated stand or mounted on a wall.
  • Outdoor Sensor: Position the outdoor sensor in a shaded area, protected from direct rain and sunlight, to ensure accurate temperature readings. Avoid placing it near metal objects or large electrical appliances that could interfere with the wireless signal. The maximum wireless range is approximately 200 feet (60 meters) in open air.

3. Synchronization

The main unit and outdoor sensor should automatically synchronize once batteries are installed. If they do not connect, try resetting both units by removing and reinserting the batteries, ensuring they are within range of each other.
