2.2 Connecting the Keyboard

The NPET K10 keyboard features a wired USB connection for reliable performance. Simply plug the USB cable from the keyboard into an available USB port on your computer. The keyboard is plug-and-play, requiring no additional drivers for basic functionality.

3.1 Basic Keyboard Functions

The NPET K10 functions as a standard 104-key QWERTY keyboard. All keys provide tactile feedback for a comfortable typing and gaming experience.

3.2 RGB Lighting Control

The keyboard features 10-zone RGB lighting with 16.8 million colors and various effects. To cycle through and personalize the dynamic lighting effects, press the FN key in combination with M1 through M5 keys.

3.3 Dedicated Media Control & Anti-Ghosting

The K10 is equipped with 13 dedicated media keys, allowing you to control your background audio without interrupting your game or work. Additionally, it features 26 conflict-free keys (anti-ghosting) to ensure all your simultaneous key presses are registered accurately, which is crucial for gaming.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Cleaning and Care

To maintain your NPET K10 keyboard, regularly clean the keycaps and the spaces between them. Use a soft, dry cloth for general dusting. For deeper cleaning, you can use the included keycap puller to remove keycaps and clean underneath. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

4.2 Spill Resistance

The keyboard features an IP32 spill-resistant design, meaning it is protected against water spray less than 15 degrees from vertical. This durable construction helps repel liquids and dirt, making cleanup easier in case of accidental spills. While spill-resistant, it is not waterproof; avoid submerging the keyboard in liquid.

4.3 Keycap Durability

The NPET K10 uses wear-resistant Doubleshot ABS keycaps with a UV coating. This ensures that the legends are more fade-resistant and provides greater protection against wear and tear from frequent use, maintaining the keyboard's aesthetic and functionality over time.

5. Troubleshooting

5.1 Common Issues and Solutions

• Keyboard Not Responding:
  • Ensure the USB cable is securely plugged into both the keyboard and the computer's USB port.
  • Try plugging the keyboard into a different USB port.
  • Restart your computer.
• RGB Lighting Not Working:
  • Ensure the keyboard is properly connected.
  • Press FN + M1-M5 to cycle through lighting modes.
  • Check if the lighting has been turned off accidentally.
• Keys Not Registering:
  • Clean around and under the affected keycaps using the provided keycap puller and a soft brush or compressed air.
  • Ensure no debris is obstructing the key switch.
  • If a specific key is consistently failing, it may indicate a hardware issue.
• Spill-Related Issues:
  • Immediately unplug the keyboard from your computer.
  • Gently wipe away any liquid.
  • Allow the keyboard to air dry completely before reconnecting. Do not use heat to dry it.
