4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Speaker

1. Locate the DC5V charging port on the side of the speaker (refer to Image 3.2).
2. Connect the small end of the included USB charging cable to the DC5V port.
3. Connect the standard USB end of the cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
4. The speaker's indicator light will illuminate to show it is charging. Once fully charged, the light may change color or turn off.
5. A full charge provides approximately 15 hours of use.

4.2 Powering On/Off

• To power on the speaker, slide the ON/OFF switch (refer to Image 3.2) to the 'ON' position. You will hear an audible indication.
• To power off the speaker, slide the ON/OFF switch to the 'OFF' position.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Bluetooth Pairing

1. Ensure the speaker is powered on and within range of your Bluetooth-enabled device (e.g., smartphone, tablet).
2. The speaker will automatically enter pairing mode, indicated by a flashing LED light.
3. On your device, go to the Bluetooth settings and search for available devices.
4. Select "HY-Pulse-BLK" (or similar name) from the list.
5. Once paired, the speaker will provide an audible confirmation, and the LED light will stop flashing.

5.2 Playing Audio (Bluetooth)

• After successful pairing, open your preferred music application on your device and start playing audio.
• Play/Pause: Press the Call/Play/Pause button (refer to Image 3.3) once to play or pause audio.
• Volume Up: Press and hold the Volume Up/Next Track button to increase volume.
• Volume Down: Press and hold the Volume Down/Previous Track button to decrease volume.
• Next Track: Press the Volume Up/Next Track button once to skip to the next track.
• Previous Track: Press the Volume Down/Previous Track button once to go to the previous track.

5.3 Using AUX Input

• Connect one end of a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) to the AUX port on the speaker (refer to Image 3.2).
• Connect the other end of the 3.5mm audio cable to the audio output jack of your device.
• The speaker will automatically switch to AUX mode.
• Control playback and volume directly from your connected device.

5.4 Call Function

When connected via Bluetooth, the speaker can be used for hands-free calls.

• Answer Call: Press the Call/Play/Pause button once when an incoming call rings.
• End Call: Press the Call/Play/Pause button once during a call to hang up.
• Reject Call: Press and hold the Call/Play/Pause button for 2 seconds to reject an incoming call.
• Redial Last Number: Double-press the Call/Play/Pause button to redial the last dialed number.

5.5 LED Light Control

The speaker features LED lights with 4 color tones.

• Press the LED button (refer to Image 3.3) to cycle through different LED light modes or to turn the lights off.

6. Maintenance

• Clean the speaker with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Keep the speaker away from water, moisture, and extreme temperatures.
• Avoid dropping the speaker or subjecting it to strong impacts.
• When not in use for extended periods, store the speaker in a cool, dry place and charge it periodically to maintain battery health.

7. Troubleshooting

• No Power: Ensure the speaker is charged. Connect the USB charging cable and allow it to charge for at least 30 minutes before attempting to power on again.
• Cannot Pair via Bluetooth:
  • Ensure the speaker is in pairing mode (flashing LED).
  • Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your device.
  • Move the speaker closer to your device.
  • Forget the speaker from your device's Bluetooth list and try pairing again.
  • Restart both the speaker and your device.
• No Sound:
  • Check the volume levels on both the speaker and your connected device.
  • Ensure the speaker is correctly paired via Bluetooth or the AUX cable is fully inserted.
  • If using AUX, ensure the correct input is selected on your device.
• Poor Sound Quality:
  • Move the speaker closer to your Bluetooth device to reduce interference.
  • Ensure there are no obstructions between the speaker and your device.
  • Try playing a different audio source to rule out file quality issues.
