5. Maintenance
5.1 Water Resistance
Your Bulova Lunar Pilot Chronograph is water resistant to 50 meters (5 ATM). This means it is suitable for short periods of recreational swimming, but not for diving or prolonged water exposure. Always ensure the crown is pushed in completely to maintain water resistance.
5.2 Cleaning
To clean your watch, wipe it gently with a soft, dry cloth. For more thorough cleaning, a slightly damp cloth with mild soap can be used, followed by drying thoroughly. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
5.3 Battery Replacement
The watch is powered by one LR44 battery (included). When the battery needs replacement, it is recommended to take your watch to an authorized Bulova service center or a qualified watchmaker to ensure proper sealing and function.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your watch, please refer to the following common solutions:
- Watch not running: Ensure the crown is fully pushed in. If the watch still does not run, the battery may need replacement.
- Incorrect time/date: Follow the instructions in Section 3.1 and 3.2 to reset the time and date.
