  • Keep the playard away from hazards such as windows with cords or blinds, heaters, and electrical outlets.

Operating Your BabySuite Deluxe

1. Using the Full-Size Bassinet

The bassinet provides a comfortable, elevated sleeping and resting area for newborns. Always ensure the bassinet is securely attached and the mattress pad is flat. Discontinue use when the infant reaches 15 lbs (6.8 kg) or shows signs of pushing up.

2. Using the Rotating Changer

The changer can be rotated into position for diaper changes and then swiveled out of the way when not in use, maximizing space within the playard. Always keep one hand on your child while using the changer. Discontinue use when the infant reaches 15 lbs (6.8 kg).

Troubleshooting Guide

Difficulty Folding/Unfolding

  • Issue: Side rails do not lock into place during setup.
  • Solution: Ensure the center hub of the playard floor is NOT pushed down. The side rails must be locked BEFORE the center is lowered. Pull each rail firmly until it clicks.
  • Issue: Playard will not fold down.
  • Solution: Ensure the center hub of the playard floor is pulled UP as far as it can go. Then, unlock each side rail by squeezing the release buttons. Refer to the folding instructions printed on the mattress pad.

Changer Stability Issues

  • Issue: The rotating changer feels unstable or sags.
  • Solution: Verify that all attachment clips are fully engaged with the playard rails. Ensure the changer's support bars are correctly assembled and locked.

Bassinet Mattress Comfort

  • Note: The bassinet mattress pad is designed to fold for portability. This may result in a slightly less rigid surface compared to a standard crib mattress.
  • Warning: Do NOT add any additional padding, mattresses, pillows, or blankets to the bassinet. This creates a suffocation hazard.
