Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
Device does not power on.Batteries are dead or incorrectly installed.Check battery polarity or replace with new AAA batteries.
Inaccurate measurements.Laser lens is dirty; target surface is too reflective/absorbent; device is not stable; environmental interference.Clean the laser lens. Measure against a non-reflective, non-absorbent surface. Ensure device is stable. Avoid strong light sources.
"Error" message on display.Measurement out of range; internal error.Ensure target is within 0.05m to 40m. Power off and restart the device. If error persists, contact support.
Laser beam is weak or not visible.Low battery; strong ambient light.Replace batteries. Use in lower ambient light conditions or use a target plate.
