Setup

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the amplifier and any accessories from the packaging. Ensure all components listed in the "What's in the Box" section are present.
2. Placement: Place the amplifier on a stable, flat surface. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.
3. Power Connection: Connect the provided power cord to the amplifier's power input (located on the rear panel) and then to a suitable electrical outlet. Ensure the power switch is in the OFF position before connecting to power.
4. Instrument/Microphone Connection:
   • For microphones or line-level instruments, use the Mic-line input.
   • For other line-level instruments, use the Line input.
   • For external audio devices (e.g., MP3 players), connect to the dedicated AUX input.
5. External Connections (Optional): If using the direct output, connect a 1/4" cable from the DIRECT OUT jack to your mixing console or recording interface.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On: After all connections are made, switch the power button to the ON position.
2. Initial Settings: Before playing, set all Gain/Volume, EQ, and Effect Send knobs to their minimum (counter-clockwise) positions. Set the Master Volume to a low level.
3. Adjusting Input Gain/Volume:
   • Play your instrument or speak into the microphone.
   • Slowly increase the Gain/Volume knob for the active input channel until you achieve a strong, clear signal without distortion.
4. Using the 3-Band EQ:
   • HIGH: Adjusts the treble frequencies for brightness or warmth.
   • MID: Controls the mid-range frequencies, affecting the presence and clarity of your sound.
   • LOW: Adjusts the bass frequencies for depth and fullness.
   • Experiment with these controls to shape your desired tone.
5. Effect Send: If the amplifier has built-in effects or an effects loop, use the Effect Send knob to control the amount of signal sent to the effect processor.
6. AUX Input Control: If using the AUX input, adjust its dedicated volume control to balance the external audio source with your instrument/microphone.
7. Master Volume: Once individual channel levels are set, use the Master Volume knob to control the overall output level of the amplifier.
8. Power Off: When finished, turn the Master Volume down, then switch the power button to the OFF position. Disconnect the power cord from the outlet.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the amplifier. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or waxes.
• Ventilation: Ensure that the ventilation grilles are not blocked to prevent overheating.
• Storage: Store the amplifier in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• Transportation: When transporting the amplifier, ensure it is securely packed to prevent damage from impacts.
• Service: Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Do not attempt to service the unit yourself.
