2. Safety Instructions

WARNING: Read all safety warnings and instructions. Failure to follow the warnings and instructions may result in electric shock, fire, and/or serious injury.

  • Electrical Safety: Ensure the charger is connected to a grounded outlet. Do not expose the charger to rain or wet conditions. Never operate the charger if the power cord or clamps are damaged.
  • Explosive Gases: Batteries generate explosive gases during normal operation. Ensure adequate ventilation when charging. Avoid sparks, flames, and smoking near the battery.
  • Eye and Skin Protection: Always wear eye protection and protective clothing when working with batteries. Battery acid is corrosive.
  • Children and Pets: Keep the charger and battery out of reach of children and pets.

    • Connect the BLACK (-) clamp to the negative (-) terminal of the battery.
    • Ensure connections are firm and secure.
  5. Select Voltage: Use the voltage selector switch on the charger to match the battery voltage (12V or 24V).
  6. Select Current: Use the current selector switch to choose the desired charging current (6A or 12A). Refer to your battery's specifications for recommended charging rates.

5. Operating Instructions

  1. Connect to Power: After connecting the clamps to the battery and selecting voltage/current, plug the charger's power cord into a 230V AC grounded electrical outlet.
  2. Monitor Charging: The digital display will show the charging voltage. The charger will automatically begin charging. Monitor the display and the battery's condition.
  3. Charging Completion: The charger will typically reduce current as the battery approaches full charge. Refer to the battery manufacturer's guidelines for full charge indications.
  4. Disconnecting:
    • First, unplug the charger from the AC power outlet.
    • Then, disconnect the BLACK (-) clamp from the battery's negative terminal.
    • Finally, disconnect the RED (+) clamp from the battery's positive terminal.
  5. TEST Function: Press the 'TEST' button to check the battery's voltage or other diagnostic information as indicated by the charger's display.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Disconnect the charger from all power sources and batteries before cleaning. Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use solvents or abrasive cleaners.
  • Storage: Store the charger in a cool, dry place when not in use. Keep cables neatly coiled.
  • Cable Inspection: Regularly inspect the power cord and battery clamps for any signs of damage, cracks, or fraying. Do not use if damaged.
  • Fuse Replacement: The 'AUTO-FUSE' indicator will alert you if the internal fuse needs attention. Consult a qualified technician for fuse replacement if necessary.

7. Troubleshooting
