3. Package Contents
Verify that all components are present upon unpacking:
- Kegco XCK-1S-3 Kegerator Unit
- Brushed Stainless Steel T-Style 3 Faucet Beer Tower
- Three Stainless Steel Faucets
- 4-inch Locking Casters (pre-installed or to be installed)
- Drip Tray and Drain Receptacle
- Keys for Door Lock
Note: A direct draw kit (CO2 tank, regulator, keg couplers, beer lines) is not included with this unit and must be supplied separately.
4. Setup
4.1 Unpacking and Placement
- Carefully remove the kegerator from its packaging.
- Place the unit on a flat, stable surface. Ensure adequate clearance around the unit for proper ventilation (at least 4 inches from walls).
- Lock the casters to prevent accidental movement.
- Allow the unit to stand upright for at least 2-4 hours before plugging it in. This allows the refrigerant to settle.
4.2 Tower and Faucet Installation
- Ensure the beer tower is securely mounted to the top of the kegerator.
- Attach the three stainless steel faucets to the beer tower. Ensure they are tightened sufficiently to prevent leaks but do not overtighten.
4.3 Drip Tray Installation
- Place the drip tray on the designated area below the faucets.
- Ensure the drain receptacle is correctly positioned to collect any spills from the drip tray.

4.4 Power Connection
Connect the power cord to a grounded 115 Volt electrical outlet. Avoid using extension cords.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Temperature Control
The temperature is controlled by a manual dial located inside the cabinet. Adjust the dial to your desired setting. The internal fan ensures even cooling throughout the unit.

Figure 4: The digital display shows the current internal temperature, which can be adjusted for various beverages.
5.2 Keg Loading and Capacity
The kegerator is designed to accommodate various keg sizes. Ensure the external CO2 tank mount is utilized if using a larger CO2 tank to save internal space.
- One (1) Full Size Keg (15.5 Gallons)
- Two (2) Quarter Slim Kegs (7.75 Gallons each)
- Four (4) 5 Gallon Kegs (with external CO2 tank mount)

5.3 Dispensing
Once kegs are connected and the unit has reached the desired temperature, beverages can be dispensed by pulling the faucet handles forward. The air-cooled tower helps maintain beverage temperature up to the faucet, reducing foam.

6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning the Drip Tray
Regularly empty and clean the drip tray and its drain receptacle to prevent odor and bacterial growth. The removable grill can be washed with warm, soapy water.
6.2 Interior Cleaning
Clean the interior of the kegerator with a mild detergent and warm water. Wipe dry with a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or sharp objects that could damage the stainless steel finish.
6.3 Exterior Cleaning
Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft cloth and a non-abrasive cleaner suitable for stainless steel. The brushed stainless steel top and guard rail should be cleaned regularly to maintain appearance.
6.4 Beer Line Cleaning
For optimal taste and hygiene, regularly clean your beer lines according to the instructions provided with your direct draw kit. This typically involves flushing with a cleaning solution.
7. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Kegerator does not cool | Power cord unplugged; circuit breaker tripped; temperature control set too high. | Check power connection; reset breaker; adjust temperature setting. |
| Excessive foam | Beer lines not cold enough; CO2 pressure too high/low; dirty beer lines; warm keg. | Ensure proper cooling; adjust CO2 regulator; clean beer lines; allow keg to chill. |
| Leaking faucets | Faucets not tightened; worn washers/gaskets. | Tighten faucets; replace worn components. |
| Door not closing properly | Obstruction; magnetic gasket dirty or damaged. | Remove obstruction; clean or replace gasket. |
