1. Product Overview

2. Safety Information

  • Always unplug the unit before cleaning or performing maintenance.
  • Ensure proper ventilation around the unit. Do not block air vents.
  • Do not store explosive substances such as aerosol cans with a flammable propellant in this appliance.
  • This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
  • Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
  • The unit uses R134a refrigerant, which is ozone-friendly. Handle with care and dispose of according to local regulations.
  • The direct draw kit is not included. Ensure all components of your dispensing system are properly installed and sealed to prevent leaks.

3. Unpacking and Setup

3.1 Unpacking

  1. Carefully remove the kegerator from its packaging.
  2. Inspect the unit for any shipping damage. Report any damage to your retailer immediately.
  3. Remove all internal packing materials, tape, and protective films.

3.2 Placement

  • Place the kegerator on a flat, stable surface capable of supporting its weight when fully loaded.
  • Ensure adequate clearance around the unit for proper ventilation (at least 4 inches from walls).
  • Avoid direct sunlight or heat sources.
  • The 4-inch locking casters allow for easy repositioning. Engage the locks once the unit is in its desired location.

3.3 Power Connection

  • Allow the unit to stand upright for at least 2-4 hours before plugging it in to allow the refrigerant to settle.
  • Connect the power cord to a grounded electrical outlet.

3.4 Keg and CO2 Tank Installation

  • The kegerator can hold one full-size keg, two quarter slim kegs, or up to four 5-gallon kegs. Refer to Figure 2 for capacity examples.
  • If using an external CO2 tank, utilize the knockout feature to route the CO2 line outside the unit, maximizing interior space.
  • Install your direct draw kit (not included) according to its specific instructions. Ensure all connections are secure and leak-free.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Temperature Control

  • The unit features a manual dial inside the cabinet for temperature adjustment.
  • An internal thermometer allows for quick monitoring of the internal temperature.
  • The digital display on the back side provides precise temperature readings and offers functions like defrost and night mode. The optimal temperature range for various beverages is 33-43°F.

4.2 Dispensing

  • Ensure your CO2 tank is connected and the regulator is set to the appropriate pressure for your beverage.
  • The air-cooled tower system directs cold air into the beer tower, keeping the lines cool all the way to the faucet, which helps reduce foam during dispensing.
  • Pull the faucet handle forward to dispense. Push back to close.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

5.1 Drip Tray Cleaning

  • The built-in drip tray with drain collects spills from the faucet.
  • The drain receptacle with a bottle catches any spills. Regularly empty and clean this bottle.
  • The removable grill on the drip tray can be easily lifted for quick and easy cleaning.

5.2 Interior Cleaning

  • Wipe down the interior with a mild detergent and water.
  • Ensure the diamond plate floor is kept clean, especially after keg changes.
  • Regularly clean beer lines to prevent bacterial growth and maintain beverage quality.

5.3 Exterior Cleaning

  • Clean the black exterior and brushed stainless steel top with a soft cloth and appropriate cleaner.
  • Keep the condenser coils clean for optimal cooling efficiency.
