Setup and Installation
- Insert Battery: Open the battery compartment on the back of the thermometer unit. Insert one LR44 button cell battery, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment securely.
Note: The battery may already be pre-installed. Remove any protective tab if present.
- Position the Display Unit: Place the main LCD display unit outside your aquarium or terrarium. It can be attached to the glass using a suction cup (not included for the main unit, typically placed on the rim or stand) or simply rested on a flat surface.

Submerge the probe into the water of your aquarium or terrarium. Ensure the probe is fully immersed but the main display unit remains outside the water. Position the probe in an area where water circulation is good for accurate readings.

Operation
- Power On/Off: Press the "PWR" button once to turn the thermometer on. To turn it off, press and hold the "PWR" button for approximately 3 seconds.
- Switch Temperature Units: Press the "°C/°F" button (located below the display) to toggle between Celsius and Fahrenheit temperature readings.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the display unit with a soft, dry cloth. The probe can be gently cleaned with a soft brush or cloth if algae or debris accumulates. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Battery Replacement: When the display becomes dim or stops working, it's time to replace the LR44 button cell battery. Open the battery compartment, remove the old battery, and insert a new one with the correct polarity.
- Storage: If not in use for an extended period, remove the battery to prevent leakage and store the thermometer in a cool, dry place.
Troubleshooting
