2. Setup

Battery Installation:

1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the work light.
2. Open the cover by sliding or unlatching it.
3. Insert 3 AAA batteries (not included) into the compartment, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside.
4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

3. Operating Instructions

Turning On/Off:

• Press the power button located on the side of the unit to turn the light on.
• Press the power button again to turn the light off.

Using the Hanging Hook:

• Extend the 360° rotating hook from the back of the unit.
• Hang the work light on any suitable object, such as a tent pole, shelf, or under a car hood, to direct light where needed.

Using the Magnetic Base:

• The strong magnetic back plate allows the light to be securely attached to metallic surfaces.
• Position the light on a metal surface (e.g., car engine bay, toolbox) to provide hands-free illumination.

4. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the work light with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Battery Replacement: Replace all 3 AAA batteries simultaneously when the light dims or stops working. Do not mix old and new batteries or different battery types.
• Storage: If storing the light for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage and corrosion. Store in a cool, dry place.

• Light does not turn on:
  • Check if batteries are inserted correctly with the right polarity.
  • Replace old or depleted batteries with new ones.
  • Ensure the battery compartment cover is securely closed.
• Light is dim:
  • Batteries may be low. Replace with fresh AAA batteries.
• Hook feels flimsy: While designed for portability, avoid excessive force when using the hook to prevent damage.
• Sticky outer surface: Some users have reported the rubberized surface becoming sticky over time. This is a known material characteristic and may not affect functionality.
