2. Setup and Initial Test
Before first use, and before each subsequent use, it is crucial to perform a waterproof test to ensure the pouch's integrity.
2.1 Waterproof Test:
- Open the two snap locks at the top of the pouch.
- Place a piece of tissue paper inside the pouch.
- Securely close both snap locks, ensuring a tight seal.
- Submerge the pouch completely in water for at least 30 minutes.
- Remove the pouch from the water, wipe it dry, and then open the locks.
- Check the tissue paper. If it is dry, the pouch is waterproof and ready for use. If the tissue paper is wet, do not use the pouch and contact customer support.
2.2 Inserting Your Smartphone:
- Ensure your phone case is removed before placing the phone into the waterproof pouch. This ensures a proper fit and seal.
- Open the two snap locks at the top of the pouch.
- Carefully slide your smartphone into the pouch.
- Ensure no air is trapped inside the pouch as you close it. Press out any excess air.
- Securely close both snap locks, ensuring they click into place and form a tight seal.
- Attach the included lanyard to the pouch for secure carrying.

3. Operating Instructions
The YOSH Waterproof Smartphone Pouch allows you to use your phone's functions while keeping it protected.
3.1 Touchscreen Functionality:
- The PVC material provides a highly responsive touchscreen experience, allowing you to send/read messages and navigate apps.
- Important Note: Due to water pressure, the touchscreen may not function properly underwater. For taking photos or videos underwater, use your phone's volume buttons as a shutter button.
- Fingerprint unlock (Touch ID) is not supported through the pouch. Use Face ID or passcode for unlocking.

3.2 Underwater Photography and Videography:
- To capture photos or videos underwater, open your phone's camera app before submerging.
- Use the volume buttons on your smartphone to trigger the shutter or start/stop video recording.
- The transparent design allows for clear photos and videos.
