Control Buttons:
- Power Button: Turns the speaker on or off.

Setup
1. Charging the Speaker
Before initial use, fully charge the speaker. Connect the supplied AC power adapter to the DC IN port on the speaker and plug it into a wall outlet. The charge indicator will illuminate. A full charge provides approximately 12 hours of battery life.
2. Powering On/Off
Press and hold the Power button for a few seconds to turn the speaker on or off.
3. Bluetooth Pairing
- Turn on the speaker.
- Press the Bluetooth button to enter pairing mode. The Bluetooth indicator will flash.
- On your smartphone or audio device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "SRSHG1" from the list. Once connected, the Bluetooth indicator will stop flashing and remain lit.
- For NFC-compatible devices, simply touch your device to the NFC area on the speaker (Figure 2) to establish a connection.
4. Wi-Fi Connection (Using SongPal App)
For Wi-Fi connectivity and multi-room features, download the Sony | Music Center (formerly SongPal) app on your smartphone or tablet. Follow the in-app instructions to connect your SRSHG1 speaker to your Wi-Fi network. This enables Google Cast and other network features.
5. USB DAC Connection
Connect the speaker to your computer using the supplied USB cable. The speaker can function as a USB Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC), bypassing your computer's sound card for high-quality audio playback. Ensure your computer's audio output is set to the SRSHG1.
Operating the Speaker
Audio Playback
Once connected via Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Audio In, or USB DAC, simply start playing audio from your source device. Use the volume buttons on the speaker or your device to adjust the sound level.
Sound Modes
Press the EXTRA BASS button to activate or deactivate the bass enhancement feature, tailoring the sound to your preference.
Multi-room and Stereo Pairing
The SRSHG1 supports multi-room audio and stereo pairing with other compatible Sony speakers via the Sony | Music Center app. Refer to the app's instructions for detailed setup of these advanced features.

Maintenance
To maintain your speaker in good condition:
