Water Resistance Information
Your Armitron Sport watch is water resistant to 330 feet (100 meters). This rating indicates suitability for swimming and snorkeling, but it is not suitable for scuba diving. To maintain water resistance, do not press any buttons while the watch is submerged in water.

Important: Water resistance is not a permanent condition. Gaskets and seals can deteriorate over time, reducing the watch's resistance to water. Avoid exposing the watch to extreme temperature changes, as this can affect the integrity of the seals.
Maintenance
Cleaning
Regularly clean your watch with a soft, damp cloth. For resin straps, mild soap and water can be used. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, as these can damage the watch's finish or strap.
Battery Replacement
The watch is powered by a Lithium Metal battery (CR2025). When the display becomes dim or functions become erratic, it may be time to replace the battery. It is recommended to have battery replacement performed by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and maintain water resistance.
Storage
When not in use, store your watch in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Avoid placing it near strong magnetic fields.
Troubleshooting
- Display is blank or dim: The battery may be low or depleted. Replace the battery.
- Time is incorrect: Re-set the time and date following the 'Initial Setup' instructions. Ensure the correct 12/24-hour format is selected.
- Buttons are unresponsive: Ensure the watch is not in a locked mode (if applicable, though this model does not feature a lock). If the issue persists, a battery replacement or professional inspection may be required.
- Water appears inside the watch: This indicates a breach in the water resistance. Immediately seek professional service to prevent further damage.
