Setup
Attaching the Auxiliary Handle
The auxiliary handle provides additional control and stability. Loosen the handle clamp, slide the handle onto the tool, and tighten the clamp securely in a comfortable position.
Inserting SDS Max Bits
- Clean the shank of the SDS Max bit.
- Apply a thin layer of grease to the bit shank.
- Insert the bit into the tool holder with a slight twisting motion until it locks into place. Pull on the bit to ensure it is securely seated.
- The SDS Max system allows for axial movement of the bit during operation; this is normal and does not indicate a fault.

Function Selector
