Troubleshooting
If your mixer experiences issues, consult the table below for common problems and solutions.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Mixer does not start. | Not plugged in; circuit breaker tripped; motor overload. | Ensure plug is firmly in outlet; check circuit breaker; if overloaded, turn off, unplug, let cool for 10-15 minutes, then restart. |
| Accessory hits the bottom of the bowl. | Beater-to-bowl clearance needs adjustment. | Refer to the "Beater-to-Bowl Clearance" section in the full manual (not included here) or contact customer service for adjustment instructions. |
| Mixer seems to be struggling with heavy dough. | Mixture too heavy; excessive load. | Reduce the amount of ingredients; ensure you are using the dough hook for heavy doughs. The motor has a safety auto shut-off for overload. |
| Accessories are difficult to attach/remove. | Accessory not aligned correctly; debris on shaft. | Ensure the accessory is aligned with the pin on the shaft; clean the shaft and accessory opening. |
