Setup
1. Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the control module.
- Open the compartment cover.
- Insert two (2) AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
2. Connecting to Aircraft
- Connect the larger plug (microphone) into the aircraft's microphone jack.
- Connect the smaller plug (audio) into the aircraft's audio jack.
3. Bluetooth Pairing
- Ensure the headset is powered on.
- Activate Bluetooth on your mobile device.
- Press and hold the Bluetooth button on the control module until the indicator light flashes, indicating pairing mode.
- Select "FARO G3" from the list of available devices on your mobile device.
- The indicator light will turn solid when successfully paired.
4. Adjusting Fit and Microphone
- Adjust the headband for a comfortable and secure fit over your head.
- Position the earcups so they fully enclose your ears, creating a good seal for optimal noise reduction.
- Bend the microphone boom to position the microphone approximately 1/4 to 1/2 inch from your lips.

Operating Instructions
1. Powering On/Off
- To power on the headset, press and hold the power button on the control module until the indicator light illuminates.
- To power off, press and hold the power button again until the indicator light turns off.
2. Active Noise Reduction (ANR)
- The ANR function activates automatically when the headset is powered on.
- Ensure a good earcup seal for optimal ANR performance.
3. Volume Control
- Use the volume control knob on the control module to adjust the audio level.
4. Bluetooth Audio and Communication
- Once paired, Bluetooth audio from your device will play through the headset.
- Incoming calls can be answered/ended using the phone button on the control module.
5. Auxiliary 3.5mm Audio Input
- Connect an external audio source (e.g., MP3 player) to the 3.5mm AUX input on the control module using the provided auxiliary cable.
- Audio from the auxiliary input will be mixed with aircraft audio.
