Setup

1. Charging the Earbuds

  1. Connect the Micro USB charging cable to the charging port on the earbud's control module.
  2. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a compatible USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter).
  3. The indicator light on the control module will illuminate during charging and change color or turn off when fully charged. A full charge provides approximately 8 hours of battery life.

2. Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Ensure the earbuds are charged and turned off.
  2. Press and hold the multi-function button on the control module until the indicator light flashes red and blue, indicating pairing mode.
  3. On your Bluetooth-enabled device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), go to the Bluetooth settings and enable Bluetooth.
  4. Search for available devices and select "Kicker EB300" from the list.
  5. Once connected, the indicator light will typically turn solid blue or flash blue slowly.

3. Fitting the Earbuds

Optimal fit is crucial for sound quality and comfort. The EB300 earbuds feature an over-ear hook design and come with three sizes of silicone ear tips.

  1. Select Ear Tips: Experiment with the small, medium, and large silicone ear tips to find the size that provides a secure seal and comfortable fit in your ear canal. A good seal enhances bass response and noise isolation.
  2. Positioning: Place the earbuds in your ears, guiding the flexible ear hooks over the top and behind your ears. Adjust the ear hooks to conform to the shape of your ears for a stable fit during activity.

Operating Instructions

The control module on the EB300 earbuds features a multi-function button, volume controls, and a microphone.

Power On/Off

  • Power On: Press and hold the multi-function button for approximately 3 seconds until the indicator light flashes blue.
  • Power Off: Press and hold the multi-function button for approximately 5 seconds until the indicator light flashes red and then turns off.

Music Playback

  • Play/Pause: Press the multi-function button once.
  • Next Track: Press and hold the "+" button.
  • Previous Track: Press and hold the "-" button.

Call Management

  • Answer/End Call: Press the multi-function button once.
  • Reject Call: Press and hold the multi-function button for approximately 2 seconds.
  • Redial Last Number: Double-press the multi-function button.

Volume Control

  • Increase Volume: Press the "+" button.
  • Decrease Volume: Press the "-" button.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Regularly clean the ear tips and earbud surfaces with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials. Remove ear tips for separate cleaning with mild soap and water, ensuring they are completely dry before reattaching.
  • Storage: When not in use, store the earbuds in the provided hard carry case to protect them from dust, moisture, and physical damage.
  • Water Resistance: The earbuds are water-resistant, but not waterproof. Avoid submerging them in water. Dry them thoroughly if they become wet from sweat or light splashes.

Troubleshooting

  • Move closer to your device.
  • Avoid environments with strong Wi-Fi or other wireless interference.
