Setup and Assembly

Assembly typically requires two people and basic tools like a screwdriver or a variable-speed drill with adjustable torque settings. Follow these steps for proper assembly:

1. Prepare the Base: Place the base panel on a flat, level surface. Ensure the area is clear of debris.
2. Attach Side Panels: Carefully snap the side panels into the channels on the base. It may be helpful to have a second person hold the panels upright.
3. Assemble Back Panels: Join the two back panels together using the provided screws. Ensure they are correctly oriented (one upside down, one right side up) as per the instructions.
4. Install Back Assembly: Slide the assembled back panels into the channels of the side panels. Secure the top with the metal reinforcement bar, ensuring it is properly seated in the channels.
5. Assemble the Lid: Attach the hydraulic pistons to the lid panel using the designated screws.
6. Attach the Lid to the Shed: Carefully align the lid with the top of the shed and secure the hinges. This step is easier with two people to support the lid.
7. Prepare the Doors: Attach the locking mechanism components to the front doors.
8. Install Front Doors: Insert the door hinges into the designated slots on the side panels. Ensure the doors swing freely.
9. Install Locking Bar: Attach the main locking bar to the top of the doors, allowing it to slide and secure both doors.
10. Attach Trash Bin Chains (Optional): If using for trash bins, attach the provided chains to the underside of the shed lid and to the lids of your trash bins. This allows the bin lids to open automatically when the shed lid is raised.

Operating Instructions

Opening the Shed

• Front Doors: Slide the top locking bar to the side to disengage the doors. Pull the bottom latch on the right door upwards to release it from the base. Open both doors outwards.
• Top Lid: Lift the lid upwards. The hydraulic pistons will assist in opening and holding the lid in place. If the trash bin chains are attached, the bin lids will also open.

Closing the Shed

• Top Lid: Gently pull the lid downwards until it closes securely.
• Front Doors: Close both doors. Push the bottom latch on the right door downwards to secure it to the base. Slide the top locking bar across to engage both doors.

Security

The shed features a robust locking mechanism. For added security, a padlock (not included) can be attached to the central locking bar.
