Key Features:

Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the saw and all accessories from the packaging. Inspect for any shipping damage.
  2. Mounting the Saw: For stability and safety, securely mount the miter saw to a sturdy workbench using appropriate bolts and fasteners. Ensure the workbench is level and can support the weight of the saw and workpiece.
  3. Blade Installation/Check:
    • Ensure the saw is unplugged from the power source.
    • If the blade is not pre-installed, follow the instructions in the blade replacement section to install the 250mm blade with a 30mm bore.
    • Verify the blade is clean, sharp, and correctly oriented for cutting.
  4. Dust Bag Attachment: Attach the provided dust collection bag to the dust port on the saw. For optimal dust extraction, consider connecting to an external dust collection system.
  5. Power Connection: Connect the saw to a 230V, 50Hz power outlet. Ensure the circuit can handle the 1800W motor.

Operating Instructions

1. Miter Saw Operation:

  1. Adjusting Miter Angle: Loosen the miter lock knob. Rotate the turntable to the desired angle. The saw features automatic stops every 5 degrees. Tighten the miter lock knob firmly.
  2. Adjusting Bevel Angle (Head Tilt): Loosen the bevel lock lever. Tilt the saw head to the desired angle (e.g., 45 degrees). Use the graduated scale for precision. Tighten the bevel lock lever.
  3. Workpiece Placement: Place the workpiece firmly against the fence and the saw table. Use the horizontal clamp to secure it.
  4. Using the Laser Guide: Activate the laser line indicator (if equipped) to preview the cut line.
  5. Making the Cut:
    • Ensure the blade is not touching the workpiece.
    • Start the motor and allow it to reach full speed.
    • Slowly lower the saw head through the workpiece with a steady, controlled motion.
    • Once the cut is complete, release the power switch and allow the blade to stop completely before raising the saw head.

2. Circular Table Saw Operation:

To use the saw as a circular table saw, the upper table (380 x 465 mm) is utilized. Ensure the miter saw head is locked in its uppermost position.

  1. Switching Mode: Refer to the specific mechanism on your saw for locking the miter head up and exposing the table saw blade.
  2. Fence Adjustment: Adjust the rip fence to the desired cutting width.
  3. Workpiece Feeding: Place the workpiece on the upper table. Use a push stick to guide the workpiece through the blade, keeping hands clear of the cutting path.
  4. Cutting Capacity (Table Saw): Maximum cutting height is 43 mm.
