1. Product Overview

The iClever BK05 is a versatile tri-fold backlit keyboard designed for portability and multi-device compatibility. Its compact design and robust aluminum alloy construction make it ideal for travel and various work environments. The keyboard features adjustable backlighting and supports seamless switching between up to four connected devices.

2. Setup and Connection

2.1 Charging the Keyboard

Before first use, fully charge the keyboard using the provided USB-C cable. Connect the USB-C end to the keyboard's charging port and the USB-A end to a power adapter or computer USB port. The charging indicator light will show charging status.

A full charge can last up to 5 months with 2 hours of daily usage without backlight, or up to 5 hours with continuous backlight use. The power indicator will flash when the battery is below 15%.

2.2 Powering On/Off

To power on the keyboard, simply unfold it. The keyboard will automatically power off when folded closed.

2.3 Bluetooth Pairing

The iClever BK05 keyboard supports connection with up to 4 devices simultaneously (3 via Bluetooth 5.1 and 1 via wired connection). Follow these steps to pair:

1. Unfold the keyboard to power it on.
2. Press Fn + C to enter pairing mode. The Bluetooth indicator light will blink.
3. On your device (smartphone, tablet, laptop), enable Bluetooth and search for "iClever IC-BK05 Keyboard" in the list of available devices.
4. Select the keyboard to connect. Once connected, the Bluetooth indicator light will stop blinking.

2.4 Switching Between Devices

To switch between paired Bluetooth devices, press Fn + Q (for device 1), Fn + W (for device 2), or Fn + E (for device 3). The keyboard will seamlessly connect to the selected device.

2.5 Operating System Mode Switching

For optimal performance and key mapping, switch the keyboard to the correct operating system mode:

• For iOS/iPadOS/macOS: Press Fn + A.
• For Android: Press Fn + S.
• For Windows/Chrome OS: Press Fn + D.

3. Operating the Keyboard

3.1 Backlight Control

The keyboard features 3 backlight colors (Red, Green, Blue) and 2 brightness levels. To adjust the backlight:

• To change backlight color: Press Fn + Alt + Right Arrow or Fn + Alt + Left Arrow.
• To adjust brightness (2 levels + off): Press Fn + Alt + Up Arrow or Fn + Alt + Down Arrow.

3.2 Special Function Keys

The keyboard includes function keys (F1-F12) with integrated multimedia and system controls. To activate these functions, press the Fn key simultaneously with the desired function key.

4.1 Cleaning

To clean the keyboard, use a soft, lint-free cloth. For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a mild cleaning solution. Avoid excessive moisture and abrasive cleaners.

4.2 Battery Care

To prolong battery life, avoid exposing the keyboard to extreme temperatures. Recharge the battery when the low power indicator flashes to maintain optimal performance.

5.1 Connection Issues

• Keyboard not pairing: Ensure the keyboard is fully charged and in pairing mode (Fn + C). Check that Bluetooth is enabled on your device and that the keyboard is within range.
• Intermittent connection: Move the keyboard closer to your device. Ensure there are no strong interference sources nearby (e.g., other wireless devices, microwaves).
• Incorrect key input: Verify that the keyboard is set to the correct operating system mode (Fn + A for iOS, Fn + S for Android, Fn + D for Windows).
