5. Setup
Follow these steps to set up your Vonyx STM2500 mixer:
- Placement: Place the mixer on a stable, flat surface, ensuring adequate ventilation.
- Power Connection: Connect the power cable to the mixer's power input and then to a suitable power outlet (230V AC). Ensure the power switch is in the OFF position before connecting.
- Output Connection: Connect the Master Output (RCA L/R) on the rear panel to the input of your amplifier or powered speakers.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Powering On/Off
After all connections are made, switch the power button on the front panel to the 'ON' position. Always turn on your mixer before your amplifier/speakers, and turn it off after your amplifier/speakers.
6.2 Selecting Input Sources
Use the input selector switches above each channel fader (CH1-CH4) to choose the desired audio source for that channel (e.g., MP3/Line, Phono/Line).
6.3 Bluetooth Connectivity
The STM2500 features a Bluetooth receiver for wireless audio streaming.

- Ensure the mixer is powered on.
- Press the 'MODE' button on the MP3 player section until 'BT' or 'Bluetooth' is displayed.
- On your external device (smartphone, tablet, laptop), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select 'Vonyx STM2500' from the list to pair.
- Once paired, you can stream audio wirelessly to the mixer. Use the MP3 player controls to manage playback.
6.4 USB Playback
To play MP3 files from a USB drive:
- Insert a USB drive containing MP3 files into the USB port.
- Press the 'MODE' button until 'USB' is displayed.
- Use the play/pause, next, and previous buttons to control playback.
6.5 Microphone Usage
- Connect your microphone to the DJ-MIC input.
- Adjust the 'DJ-MIC' level knob to control the microphone volume.
- Use the 'TREBLE' and 'BASS' knobs to adjust the microphone's tone.
- Activate the 'TALKOVER' switch if you want the music volume to automatically duck when speaking into the microphone.
6.6 Mixing and Output
- Adjust individual channel volumes using the channel faders (CH1-CH4).
- Use the 'CROSSFADER' to smoothly transition between Channel 1 and Channel 2.
- Monitor the overall output level using the 'VU METER LED'.
- Control the final output volume to your amplifier/speakers with the 'MASTER LEVEL' knob.
6.7 Monitoring with Headphones
- Connect your headphones to the Headphone Output.
- Use the 'CUE SELECT' switch to choose which channel(s) you want to monitor in your headphones without affecting the main output.
- Adjust the 'PHONE LEVEL' knob to set the headphone volume.
6.8 Recording
Connect the 'RECORD OUTPUT' (RCA L/R) on the rear panel to the input of a recording device (e.g., a digital recorder or computer audio interface) to capture your mix.
