3.1. Battery Installation
Your Clockwise Tools Digital Caliper requires two CR2032 batteries (included). One battery is pre-installed, and a spare is provided.
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the digital display unit.
- Slide the cover open.
- Insert the CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing up.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
3.2. Initial Cleaning and Calibration
For optimal accuracy, it is recommended to clean the external jaws with a small piece of paper or a paper card every time before use. Your caliper is factory-calibrated and ready for immediate use.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1. Power On/Off
- Press the ON/OFF button to turn the caliper on.
- The caliper features an auto-off function and will shut off after 5-7 minutes of inactivity to conserve battery life.
4.2. Unit Conversion
Press the mm/in/F button to cycle through measurement units: millimeters (mm), inches (in), and fractions (F).
4.3. Zero Setting
To set the zero point at any position:
- Close the jaws completely or position them at your desired zero reference point.
- Press the ZERO button. The display will show "0.00" or "0" for the selected unit.
