5.2 Laser Adjustment
The red aiming laser can be adjusted for windage and elevation. Use the provided .050 hex wrench to make small adjustments to the screws located on the side and bottom of the laser module. Test the laser's point of impact and adjust as necessary to align with your firearm's point of aim.
6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your TLR-6.
- Cleaning: Periodically clean the lens of the LED light and the laser aperture with a soft, clean cloth. For heavy residue, especially after firing, a cotton swab with a small amount of rubbing alcohol can be used. Ensure the unit is off and batteries are removed before cleaning.
- Battery Replacement: Replace batteries when the light output diminishes or the laser becomes dim. Always use fresh, high-quality CR 1/3N Lithium Ion batteries.
- Storage: When storing the TLR-6 for extended periods, remove the batteries to prevent potential leakage and damage to the unit.
