Setup and Assembly
The PrepStand Pro requires minimal assembly. Follow these steps to set up your stand:
- Unfold the Tripod Base: Carefully extend the three legs of the stand until they are fully spread, forming a stable tripod. Ensure the quick-release lever at the base is securely fastened to lock the legs in position.
- Adjust Height: Loosen the quick-release lever on the main vertical shaft. Extend the shaft to your desired working height. Securely fasten the quick-release lever to lock the shaft.
- Prepare the Clamp: The clamping head is pre-assembled. Ensure the clamp jaws are open wide enough to accommodate your bicycle's frame or seatpost.

Operating Instructions
Securing Your Bicycle:
- Open the Clamp: Rotate the large knob on the clamping head counter-clockwise to open the rubber-coated jaws.
- Position the Bicycle: Carefully lift your bicycle and position either the frame tube or the seatpost between the open jaws. The 360° rotating clamp allows for various angles.
- Close and Tighten: Rotate the knob clockwise to gently close the jaws around the bicycle part. Ensure the bike is held securely but avoid over-tightening, which could damage the frame. The non-marring rubber jaws protect your bike's finish.

Using the Digital Weight Scale:
The integrated digital scale provides accurate weight measurements for components or the entire bicycle.
- Power On: Press the power button on the digital scale to turn it on.
- Select Units: Press the 'Kg/Lb' button to toggle between kilograms and pounds.
- Tare Function: If weighing individual components, you can place a container on the scale and press the 'O/T' (Tare) button to zero out its weight.
- Weighing: Place the item to be weighed directly on the scale's platform or use the optional hook for larger items like wheels. For full bike weight, ensure the bike is securely clamped and resting on the scale's platform or suspended from the hook (if using the optional kit).

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe down the stand with a damp cloth after each use to remove dirt, grease, and grime. Avoid abrasive cleaners that could damage the anodized aluminum finish.
- Lubrication: Periodically apply a light lubricant to the quick-release mechanisms and clamp screw threads to ensure smooth operation.
- Storage: When not in use, fold the stand compactly and store it in a dry, clean area. The included carry bag (if applicable) provides protection during storage and transport.
Troubleshooting
- Stand Instability: Ensure all three legs are fully extended and the quick-release lever at the base is securely tightened. Verify the stand is on a flat, level surface.
- Clamp Slippage: Check that the clamp jaws are clean and free of grease. Ensure the clamp knob is tightened sufficiently to hold the bike without over-stressing the frame.
- Digital Scale Malfunction: Check the battery. If the display is erratic, try removing and reinserting the battery. Refer to the scale's specific instructions for calibration if needed.
