Safety Information

Setup and Installation
Before you begin: Turn off power at the circuit breaker for the switch location. Verify power is off using a voltage tester.
Wiring Instructions
- Identify Wires: Carefully remove your existing switch and identify the Hot, Load, Neutral, and Ground wires in your wall box. A neutral wire (typically white) is required.
- Connect Wires: Use the provided wire nuts to connect the BN-LINK timer switch wires to your household wires as follows:
- Black Wire (Timer) to Hot Wire (Wall Box)
- Red Wire (Timer) to Load Wire (Wall Box)
- White Wire (Timer) to Neutral Wire (Wall Box)
- Green Wire (Timer) to Ground Wire (Wall Box)
- Secure Wiring: Ensure all wire connections are secure and insulated with wire nuts.
Mounting and Finishing
- Insert Switch: Carefully push the wired timer switch into the wall box.
- Secure Switch: Use the provided screws to secure the timer switch to the wall box.
- Attach Wall Plate: Mount the included wall plate over the switch.
- Restore Power: Turn the power back on at the circuit breaker.

Operating Instructions
1. Initialization
When the timer is first powered, all indicator lights will briefly illuminate and then turn off after a self-diagnosis process. This indicates the timer is ready for use.
2. Setting a Countdown Program
To activate a countdown, simply press the button corresponding to your desired time (5, 10, 20, 30, 45, or 60 minutes). The indicator light on the selected button will illuminate, and the countdown will begin. The connected device will turn off automatically once the countdown is complete.
3. Shifting to Another Countdown Program
If a countdown is active and you wish to change the duration, press a different countdown button. The indicator light on the previously active button will turn off, and the light on the newly selected button will illuminate. The new countdown program will then begin.
4. Activating the Daily Repeat Function
To enable the daily repeat function, press the REPEAT button while a countdown program is running. The indicator light on the REPEAT button will illuminate. The current program will automatically run again at the same time on the following day.
5. Deactivating the Daily Repeat Function (2 Ways)
There are two methods to deactivate the daily repeat function:
- Press REPEAT Button: Press the REPEAT button again. Its indicator light will turn off. This will deactivate the repeat function for any ongoing program.
- Press ON/OFF Button: Press the ON/OFF button. This will terminate the ongoing program and also deactivate the daily repeat function.
6. Termination of a Countdown Program
A countdown program will terminate automatically when its set time expires. The indicator light for that program will turn off, and the power output to the connected device will be cut off.
7. Always On Mode
If a countdown is already running, or if the daily repeat function is active, press the ON/OFF button twice to set the timer to 'Always On' mode. The ON/OFF indicator light will illuminate, and the device will remain powered indefinitely.
If the timer is in 'Off' mode, press the ON/OFF button once to set the timer to 'Always On' mode. The ON/OFF indicator light will illuminate.
8. Terminating Always On Mode
To terminate 'Always On' mode:
- Press ON/OFF Button: Press the ON/OFF button once. The ON/OFF indicator light will turn off, and the power output will be cut off.
- Select Countdown Program: Press any of the preset countdown buttons (5, 10, 20, 30, 45, or 60 minutes). This will initiate a new countdown program and terminate 'Always On' mode.
9. Restarting a Running Countdown Program
To restart a running countdown program:
- Terminate and Re-select: Press the ON/OFF button to terminate the current program, then immediately press the desired countdown button to restart it.
- Shift Program: Alternatively, press a different countdown button, and then press the original countdown button you wish to restart.
Maintenance
To maintain your BN-LINK Countdown Digital Wall Timer Switch, ensure the power is off at the circuit breaker before cleaning. Wipe the surface with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Regular inspection for any loose wiring or damage is recommended.
Troubleshooting
- Timer not turning on: Check the circuit breaker to ensure power is supplied. Verify all wiring connections are secure, especially the neutral wire.
- Countdown not starting: Ensure a specific time button is pressed and its indicator light is on.
- Repeat function not working: Confirm the REPEAT indicator light is illuminated after activation. If not, press the REPEAT button again while a countdown is active.
- Device not turning off: Check if the timer is in 'Always On' mode (ON/OFF indicator illuminated). If so, press the ON/OFF button to turn it off.
