Setup

1. Battery Installation

The RYOBI ZRP320 operates with an 18V ONE+ Lithium-Ion battery (sold separately). Ensure the battery is fully charged before use.

  1. Align the battery with the battery port on the base of the nailer handle.
  2. Slide the battery into the port until it clicks securely into place.
  3. To remove, press the release latches on the battery and slide it out.

2. Loading Nails

This nailer uses 18-gauge brad nails ranging from 5/8 inch to 2 inches in length.

  1. Locate the magazine release latch, typically at the rear of the magazine.
  2. Pull back the pusher assembly until it locks into place.
  3. Insert a strip of brad nails into the magazine with the points facing forward.
  4. Release the pusher assembly to push the nails forward into the firing position.
  5. Ensure the low-nail indicator is visible to monitor nail supply.

3. Adjusting Depth of Drive

The depth of nail drive can be adjusted to suit different materials and desired finishes.

Operating Instructions

1. Selecting Actuation Mode

The ZRP320 features a selectable drive shift for single sequential or contact actuation.

2. Firing the Nailer

  1. Ensure the battery is installed and nails are loaded.
  2. Select the desired actuation mode.
  3. Place the nose of the nailer firmly against the workpiece. The contact trip must be compressed.
  4. Pull the trigger to drive a nail.
  5. The integrated LED lights will illuminate the work area when the trigger is pulled.
