1. Setup

1.1 Package Contents

Note: 2 x 1.5V AAA batteries are required and not included.

1.2 Battery Installation

Locate the battery compartment on the back of the transmitter.
Open the battery compartment cover.
Insert two (2) 1.5V AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
Close the battery compartment cover securely.

Upon successful battery installation, the transmitter's display will activate, showing current temperature and humidity readings.

1.3 Pairing with the Main Weather Station

The transmitter is designed to automatically pair with the TFA Multy wireless weather station (model 35.1134). Ensure your main weather station is powered on and within range.

Place the transmitter near your main weather station during initial setup.
The main station will search for available transmitters. The transmitter will send its data wirelessly.
Up to three transmitters can be connected to the main station. Refer to your main weather station's manual for specific instructions on adding multiple transmitters or selecting channels.

1.4 Placement

For accurate readings and optimal wireless transmission, consider the following placement guidelines:

Outdoor Use: The transmitter is intended for outdoor climate measurement.
Protection from Elements: Mount or place the transmitter in an area protected from direct precipitation (rain, snow) and direct sunlight. An overhang, porch, or sheltered wall is ideal.
Mounting Options: The transmitter can be hung using its integrated hanging hole or placed on a flat surface.
Wireless Range: The maximum transmission range is up to 80 meters (262 feet) in an open field. Obstacles such as walls, trees, and electronic devices can reduce this range.
Avoid Interference: Keep the transmitter away from large metal objects, electrical appliances, and other sources of electromagnetic interference.

2. Operating Instructions

2.1 Display Information

The transmitter features a small LCD display that shows the current outdoor temperature and humidity readings directly. These readings are also transmitted wirelessly to your main weather station.

2.2 Wireless Transmission

The transmitter continuously measures temperature and humidity and sends this data to the main TFA Multy weather station (35.1134) at regular intervals. Ensure the main station is within the effective transmission range for continuous data reception.

3. Maintenance

3.1 Battery Replacement

When the display on the transmitter or the main weather station indicates low battery, replace the two (2) 1.5V AAA batteries. Follow the battery installation steps outlined in Section 1.2.

Always replace both batteries at the same time.
Use new, high-quality alkaline batteries for optimal performance.
Dispose of old batteries responsibly according to local regulations.

3.2 Cleaning
