  • Periodically inspect the ceramic logs for any damage or soot buildup. Clean gently with a soft brush if necessary.
  • Ensure the air intake and exhaust vents are clear of obstructions.

Annual Inspection:

It is recommended to have a qualified service technician inspect your fireplace insert annually to ensure all components are functioning correctly and safely.

Troubleshooting

If your fireplace insert is not operating as expected, consult the following common issues before contacting customer support.

No Ignition/Pilot Light Issues:

  • Ensure the gas supply is turned on.
  • Check if the AAA battery for the Piezo ignition is correctly installed and has sufficient charge.
  • Verify that the control knob is set to the 'PILOT' position during ignition attempts.

Remote Control Not Responding:

  • Check the battery in the remote control and replace if necessary.
  • Ensure the remote receiver is set to 'REMOTE' mode (not 'ON' or 'OFF' for manual operation).
