Maintenance
Cleaning Your Device
To clean your Roku SE player and remote, use a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using liquid cleaners or aerosols, as they may damage the device.
Remote Battery Replacement
When the remote's performance degrades, replace the two AAA batteries. Ensure correct polarity when inserting new batteries.
Troubleshooting
- No Power/Device Not Turning On:
Ensure the power adapter is securely connected to both the Roku SE and a working wall outlet. Try a different outlet if necessary.
- No Picture/Signal on TV:
Verify that the HDMI or composite cables are securely connected to both the Roku SE and the correct input on your TV. Ensure your TV is set to the correct input source (e.g., HDMI 1, Video 2).
- Buffering or Poor Streaming Quality:
Check your internet connection. Ensure your Wi-Fi signal is strong. Restart your router and modem. If possible, move the Roku SE closer to your Wi-Fi router or reduce interference from other wireless devices.
- Remote Not Responding:
Replace the AAA batteries in the remote. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the Roku SE device.
- Cannot Access Netflix Profiles:
The Roku SE model may not support individual Netflix profile selection directly from the device's Netflix app. You may need to manage profiles via the Netflix website or a different device.
