Charging the Speaker
- Locate the Micro USB charging port on the speaker.
- Connect the Micro USB end of the provided charging cable to the speaker's charging port.
- Connect the standard USB end of the cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
- The charging indicator light will illuminate, typically red, to show that the speaker is charging.
- A full charge takes approximately 3-4 hours. The indicator light will change or turn off once charging is complete.
- A fully charged speaker provides up to 6 hours of playtime in Bluetooth wireless mode.
Bluetooth Pairing
Follow these steps to connect your MVMT Hive speaker to a Bluetooth-enabled device:
- Ensure the speaker is fully charged.
- Power on the speaker by pressing and holding the power button. The speaker will enter Bluetooth pairing mode, indicated by a flashing LED light.
- On your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, computer), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "MVMT Hive" from the list of found devices.
- Once paired, the speaker will emit an audible confirmation tone, and the LED indicator will typically stop flashing and remain solid.
- You can now play audio from your device through the MVMT Hive speaker.
Note: The speaker will automatically attempt to reconnect to the last paired device when powered on, if that device's Bluetooth is active and within range.
AUX Mode Operation
To use the speaker with devices that do not support Bluetooth, use the auxiliary (AUX) input:
- Connect one end of the provided 3.5mm auxiliary cable to the AUX input port on the MVMT Hive speaker.
- Connect the other end of the 3.5mm auxiliary cable to the headphone jack or AUX output of your audio device.
- The speaker should automatically switch to AUX mode. If not, ensure no Bluetooth connection is active.
- Adjust the volume on both your audio device and the speaker for optimal sound.
