1. Introduction

4. Setup

  1. Attach the Hose: Insert the end of the crush-resistant hose into the suction inlet on the main canister unit until it clicks securely into place.
  2. Connect the Wand: Attach the adjustable metal wand to the other end of the hose. Ensure it clicks firmly.
  3. Select and Attach Floor Head: Choose the appropriate floor head (Spinning Brush Roll Head for carpets or Multi-Surface Floor Head for hard floors) and attach it to the end of the metal wand.
  4. Install Dust Bag: Open the dust bag compartment on the canister. Insert a new disposable HEPA bag, ensuring it is properly seated and sealed. Close the compartment securely.
  5. Power Connection: Extend the power cord from the retractable cord mechanism and plug it into a standard electrical outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Powering On/Off and Suction Control

  1. Power On: Press the power button located on the canister unit to turn the vacuum cleaner on.
  2. Adjust Suction: Use the 5-speed motor control dial on the canister to adjust the suction power. Higher settings are ideal for deep cleaning carpets, while lower settings are suitable for delicate surfaces like drapes or small rugs.
  3. Power Off: Press the power button again to turn the vacuum cleaner off.

5.2 Surface Cleaning

5.3 Cord Management

The vacuum features a convenient cord rewind function. To retract the cord, gently pull the cord out a short distance, then release it. The cord will automatically rewind into the unit.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Dust Bag Replacement

The Prolux Tritan uses 5-layer disposable HEPA bags. Replace the bag when the 'Bag Full' indicator light illuminates or when suction power decreases significantly. To replace:

  1. Ensure the vacuum is unplugged.
  2. Open the dust bag compartment.
  3. Carefully remove the full bag and dispose of it.
  4. Insert a new disposable HEPA bag, aligning it correctly within the compartment.
  5. Close the compartment securely until it clicks.

6.2 Filter Maintenance

The vacuum features a 3-stage HEPA filtration system, including a HEPA filter and a carbon pre-filter. Regularly check and clean/replace filters as needed to maintain air quality and suction.

6.3 Brush Roll Cleaning

Periodically check the Spinning Brush Roll Head for tangled hair or debris. Remove any obstructions to ensure effective cleaning performance.
