4. Setup and Assembly

Follow these steps to assemble and set up your table saw for initial use.

4.1 Assembling the Stand

Carefully unpack all components. Assemble the stand according to the diagrams provided in the separate assembly instructions. Ensure all bolts are securely tightened.

4.2 Installing the Saw Blade

  1. Ensure the saw is unplugged from the power supply.
  2. Remove the blade guard if necessary.
  3. Use the provided wrenches to loosen the blade nut.
  4. Carefully place the new blade onto the arbor, ensuring the teeth are pointing in the correct direction (usually indicated by an arrow on the blade and saw).

4.3 Connecting Dust Extraction

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Adjusting Blade Height and Angle

The blade height and angle can be adjusted using the handwheel located on the front of the saw.

  • To adjust blade height: Turn the handwheel to raise or lower the blade.
  • To adjust blade angle (bevel cut): Loosen the locking mechanism, tilt the blade to the desired angle (0-45 degrees), and then secure the locking mechanism.

5.2 Using the Parallel Stop and Angle Stop

The parallel stop is used for rip cuts, ensuring a consistent width. The angle stop is used for cross-cuts and miter cuts.

  • Parallel Stop: Position the parallel stop to the desired cutting width and lock it in place using the eccentric clamp.
  • Angle Stop: Insert the angle stop into the T-slot on the table. Adjust it to the required angle and secure it.

5.3 Performing a Cut

  1. Ensure the workpiece is stable and properly supported.
  2. Adjust the blade height so that the blade teeth are approximately 3-5mm above the workpiece.
  3. Turn on the saw using the green 'I' button. Allow the blade to reach full speed.
  4. Slowly and steadily feed the workpiece into the blade, using the parallel stop or angle stop for guidance. Always use the push stick for narrow cuts.
  5. Once the cut is complete, turn off the saw using the red 'O' button and wait for the blade to stop completely before removing the workpiece or offcuts.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your table saw.

6.1 General Cleaning

  • Always disconnect the power plug before cleaning.
  • Remove sawdust and debris from the saw table, blade guard, and motor housing after each use. Use a brush or vacuum cleaner.
  • Do not use aggressive cleaning agents or solvents.
