1. Introduction

2. Safety Information

  • Electrical Safety: Always turn off power at the circuit breaker before installing or replacing light bulbs to prevent electric shock.

4. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to safely install your new fluorescent tube light bulb:

  1. Turn Off Power: Locate the circuit breaker controlling the light fixture and turn off the power. Verify the power is off by attempting to turn on the light switch.
  2. Remove Fixture Cover (if applicable): If your fixture has a cover, gently push it upwards and slide it to one side to release it. Carefully lower and remove the cover.
  3. Remove Old Bulb: Grasp the old fluorescent tube firmly. Rotate the tube approximately 90 degrees until the pins align with the slots in the lampholder. Gently pull the tube downwards and away from the fixture.
  4. Install New Bulb: Align the bi-pin base of the new LUXRITE fluorescent tube with the slots in the lampholder. Push the pins into the slots and rotate the tube 90 degrees until it locks securely into place. Ensure both ends are properly seated.
  5. Replace Fixture Cover (if applicable): Reattach the fixture cover by reversing the removal process.
  6. Restore Power: Turn the power back on at the circuit breaker.
  7. Test Light: Turn on the light switch to ensure the new bulb is functioning correctly.

5. Operating Instructions

Once installed, the LUXRITE F32T8/841 fluorescent tube operates like any standard fluorescent light. Simply use the wall switch connected to your fixture to turn the light on or off. Allow a few moments for the bulb to reach full brightness upon activation.
