3. Setup
Placement
Place the cooktop on a stable, flat, and dry surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit.
Power Connection
Plug the cooktop into a standard electrical outlet. The unit will beep and the display will illuminate, indicating it is ready for use.
Cookware Compatibility
The NuWave Titanium PIC Induction Cooktop works exclusively with induction-ready cookware. To check if your cookware is compatible, simply hold a magnet to the bottom of the pan. If the magnet sticks, the cookware is compatible.
- Compatible materials: Cast iron, stainless steel (magnetic base).
- Incompatible materials: Aluminum, copper, glass, ceramic (unless specifically designed for induction).

Temperature Probe Setup
The included temperature probe allows for precise internal temperature monitoring of your food. Plug the probe into the designated port on the side of the cooktop. Use the probe holder to secure the probe to the side of your cookware, ensuring the tip is immersed in the food or liquid without touching the bottom of the pan.
4. Operating Instructions
Power On/Off
Press the ON/OFF button to turn the unit on or off. The display will show the default temperature (typically SEAR or 575°F) upon activation.
Cookware Detection
