4. Setup

Charging the Battery

Before first use, fully charge the tool's integrated 7.2-volt lithium-ion battery. Plug the charger into a standard electrical outlet and connect the charging cable to the port at the back of the tool. Attaching/Changing Blades

To change blades, ensure the tool is off and unplugged. Locate the release tab on the top of the tool. Slide the tab up and slide the current blade attachment off. Align the new blade (either the grass shear or hedge trimmer) with the central pin and slide it into place until it clicks securely. Ensure the blade is firmly seated before operation.
