1. Introduction

The Gourmia GTA2500 is a versatile multi-function appliance designed for air frying, grilling, and roasting. It utilizes turbo-charged convection heat and powerful halogen light to cook food efficiently. This manual provides instructions for safe operation, setup, use, and maintenance of your appliance.

2. Important Safeguards

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including:

• Read all instructions before use.
• Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
• To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plugs, or the appliance in water or other liquid.
• Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
• Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts.
• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner.
• The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause injuries.
• Do not use outdoors.
• Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
• Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
• Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquids.
• Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to "off", then remove plug from wall outlet.
• Do not use appliance for other than intended use.

4. Setup

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all packaging materials and accessories from the box.
2. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wash all removable parts (accessories, cooking vessel) in warm, soapy water. Wipe the main unit with a damp cloth. Ensure all parts are completely dry before assembly.
3. Placement: Place the appliance on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from walls or other appliances to allow for proper ventilation. Ensure there is sufficient space around the unit.
4. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

The Gourmia GTA2500 offers both preset cooking modes and manual control for various culinary tasks.

5.1. Control Panel and Presets

The LED display features manual cooking controls and 6 adjustable one-touch modes:

• Pizza: Optimized setting for cooking pizzas.
• Defrost: Thaws frozen food items.
• Bake: Suitable for baking various dishes.
• Fry: Air frying function for crispy results.
• Roast: Ideal for roasting meats and vegetables.
• Turbo: High-speed cooking for quick results.

The manual controls allow setting time up to 60 minutes and temperature up to 450°F. A delay timer can be programmed for up to 10 hours.

5.2. General Operation

1. Place food into the appropriate accessory (e.g., frying tumbler, grill basket) and insert it into the cooking vessel.
2. Close the lid securely.
3. Select a preset mode or manually set the desired cooking time and temperature using the control panel.
4. Press the start button to begin cooking.
5. The clear lid and internal light allow for easy monitoring of the cooking process.
6. Once cooking is complete, the appliance will signal. Carefully remove the food using appropriate utensils.

5.3. Specific Functions

• Broiling: The appliance can reach 450°F, suitable for broiling.
• Popcorn: The high temperature capability allows for popping popcorn directly in the unit.

• Lifting Tongs: For safely handling hot accessories and food.
• Rotisserie Spit/Forks: Used for roasting whole chickens or other large cuts of meat.
• Frying Tumbler: A rotating basket ideal for air frying smaller items like french fries or chicken nuggets.
• Grill Rack: Provides a surface for grilling.
• Grill Basket: A larger basket for grilling various foods.
• Fry Basket: Similar to the frying tumbler, for air frying.
• Kebab Rotisserie & 10 Skewers: For preparing kebabs.
• Baking Pan: For baking cakes, casseroles, and other dishes.
• Steaming Pan: For steaming vegetables or other foods.
• Rotisserie Stand: To hold the rotisserie spit when not in the unit or for carving.

7. Cleaning and Maintenance

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and longevity of your appliance.

1. Unplug: Always unplug the appliance from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
2. Removable Parts: All accessories (frying tumbler, rotisserie spit, grill rack, baskets, pans, etc.) are dishwasher safe. For stubborn food residue, soak in warm, soapy water before washing.
3. Cooking Vessel: The removable cooking vessel can be washed by hand with warm, soapy water.
4. Main Unit: Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water or any other liquid.
5. Lid and Fan: The clear lid and internal fan area should be cleaned regularly to prevent grease buildup. Use a damp cloth and mild detergent. Ensure the fan area is free of debris.
6. Storage: Store the appliance in a cool, dry place once all parts are clean and dry.

8. Troubleshooting

• Appliance does not turn on: Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working electrical outlet. Check if the lid is properly closed.
• Food is not cooking evenly: Ensure food is not overcrowded in the basket. For best results, shake or turn food halfway through cooking.
• Rotisserie function not rotating: Check that the rotisserie spit is correctly installed and engaged with the rotation mechanism. Sometimes a gentle nudge may be needed to initiate rotation.
• Program buttons unresponsive: Unplug the unit, wait a few minutes, and plug it back in to reset the system. If the issue persists, contact customer support.
• Frying tumbler discolors: Some discoloration of accessories, especially with high heat and certain foods, can occur over time. This is generally cosmetic and does not affect performance. Ensure thorough cleaning after each use.
• Difficulty cleaning rotisserie basket: For baked-on grease, soak the basket in hot, soapy water for an extended period before scrubbing with a non-abrasive brush.
