2. Securing the Car Seat in Your Vehicle (Harnessed Mode)
This car seat is designed for front-facing installation only. It is equipped with LATCH (Lower Anchors and Tethers for Children) connectors for easy installation and transfer between vehicles. The seat also features three-point connections for secure strapping.
- Locate the LATCH anchors in your vehicle's back seat.
- Attach the LATCH connectors from the car seat to the vehicle's anchors.
- Ensure the car seat is tightly secured and does not move more than one inch side-to-side or front-to-back at the belt path.
- For additional security, utilize the top tether strap, attaching it to the vehicle's top tether anchor point.

Operating Instructions
1. Adjusting the 5-Point Harness
The 5-point harness system ensures a snug and secure fit for your child. The harness features a central, front-access adjuster for ease of use.
- To loosen the harness, press the release button located near the crotch buckle and pull the shoulder straps forward.
- To tighten the harness, pull the adjustment strap located at the front of the seat until the harness is snug against your child's body. Ensure the chest clip is positioned at armpit level.
- The headrest and shoulder strap height can be adjusted by squeezing the button on the back of the seat and sliding the headrest up or down.

2. Converting to Belt-Positioning Booster Mode
For older children (at least four years of age and meeting weight/height requirements), the car seat converts to a belt-positioning booster. The 5-point harness can be removed, and the vehicle's seat belt is used to secure the child.
- Refer to the detailed instructions in the full user manual for safe removal of the 5-point harness.
- Once the harness is removed, the vehicle's shoulder belt will self-adjust to your child's height through the designated belt path on the booster seat's headrest.
- Ensure the lap belt is low on the hips, touching the thighs, and the shoulder belt crosses the center of the child's chest and shoulder.
