3. Setup and Sizing

3.1 Proper Sizing

A helmet must fit snugly and comfortably to provide maximum protection. To determine your correct helmet size:

  1. Use a flexible measuring tape.
  2. Measure the largest circumference of your head, approximately 2.5 cm (1 inch) above your eyebrows.
  3. Refer to the sizing chart below. If your measurement falls between two sizes, it is recommended to choose the smaller size for a snug fit.

3.2 Initial Inspection

Upon receiving your helmet, inspect it for any signs of damage during shipping. Ensure all components, including visors, chin strap, and modular mechanism, operate smoothly.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Wearing the Helmet

  1. Hold the helmet by the chin straps.
  2. Place the helmet on your head, ensuring it sits level and comfortably.
  3. Fasten the chin strap securely. The strap should be snug under your chin, allowing no more than two fingers to fit between the strap and your chin.

4.2 Using the Visors

The helmet features two visors for optimal visibility in varying conditions.

  • Clear Outer Visor: This main visor provides full protection and clear vision. It can be raised or lowered using the tab located on the bottom edge of the visor.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning the Shell

Clean the helmet shell with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid using harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the helmet's finish and materials.

5.2 Cleaning the Visors

The visors should be cleaned with a soft cloth and lukewarm water. For stubborn dirt, use a mild soap solution. Rinse thoroughly and air dry. Do not use abrasive materials or chemical cleaners, which can scratch or damage the anti-fog and anti-UV coatings.

5.3 Cleaning the Lining

The helmet's inner lining is removable and washable. Gently detach the lining components from the helmet. Hand wash with mild soap and cold water, or machine wash on a delicate cycle in a laundry bag. Air dry completely before reinserting into the helmet.

5.4 Storage

Store the helmet in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Use a helmet bag to protect it from dust and scratches.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Visor Fogging: Ensure the helmet's ventilation system is open. If fogging persists, consider applying an anti-fog treatment to the visor.
  • Loose Fit: If the helmet feels loose after extended use, check if the inner lining is properly seated. If the helmet is still too large, it may be the incorrect size and should be replaced with a smaller one.
  • Chin Bar Not Latching: Ensure no obstructions are preventing the chin bar from fully closing. Apply gentle, even pressure until it clicks securely into place. Do not force it.
