Setup Instructions
- Insert Battery: Open the battery compartment on the underside of the mouse. Insert one AA battery (included), ensuring correct polarity. Close the compartment.
- Connect USB Receiver: Locate the USB receiver stored in the compartment on the underside of the mouse. Plug the USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
- Power On: Slide the power switch on the underside of the mouse to the 'ON' position. A red indicator light will briefly illuminate, confirming the mouse is powered on and ready to connect.
- System Recognition: Your computer should automatically detect and install the necessary drivers. This may take a few moments.

Operating Instructions
Basic Usage
- Cursor Control: Use your thumb to roll the trackball to move the cursor on the screen.
- Left/Right Click: The primary buttons are located on the top surface of the mouse.
- Scroll Wheel: Use the scroll wheel for vertical scrolling. The wheel also supports tilting for horizontal scrolling.
- DPI Adjustment: Press the DPI button (located near the scroll wheel) to cycle between 750 DPI (LOW) and 1500 DPI (HIGH) settings.

Programmable Buttons
The ELECOM EX-G M-XT3DRBK features 6 programmable buttons and tilt scroll functionality. To customize these buttons, download and install the 'ELECOM Mouse Assistant' software from the official ELECOM website. This software allows you to assign various functions, macros, and gestures to enhance your workflow.

Maintenance
Cleaning the Trackball
Regular cleaning of the trackball and its bearings is essential for maintaining smooth and precise cursor movement. The trackball is designed for easy removal:
- Locate the small hole on the underside of the mouse.
- Using a pen or a similar thin object, gently push the trackball out through this hole.
- Clean the trackball with a soft, lint-free cloth.
- Gently wipe the three artificial ruby ball bearings inside the trackball housing to remove any dust or debris.
- Reinsert the trackball into the housing until it clicks securely into place.

Troubleshooting
