Setup

1. Charging the Headset

Before first use, fully charge the headset. Connect the supplied USB charging cable to the headset's USB charge port and to a powered USB port (e.g., on your console, PC, or a USB wall adapter). The LED indicator will show charging status.

Note: The headset has a battery life of approximately 5 hours on a full charge.

2. Attaching the Microphone

The boom microphone is detachable and flexible. Align the microphone's connector with the port on the left earcup and gently push until it clicks into place. You can bend the microphone to adjust its position for optimal voice pickup.

3. Wireless Connection (USB Transmitter)

1. Insert the USB wireless transmitter into an available USB port on your Xbox One console or PC.
2. Power on the headset by pressing and holding the Power button on the left earcup.
3. The headset and transmitter should automatically pair. The LED indicators on both devices will confirm a successful connection.

4. Bluetooth Connection (for Mobile/Tablet)

1. With the headset powered off, press and hold the Power button until the LED indicator flashes, indicating Bluetooth pairing mode.
2. On your mobile device or tablet, go to Bluetooth settings and search for "AG 9+ Prismatic" (or similar model name).
3. Select the headset to pair. The LED indicator will show a solid light upon successful connection.

5. Wired Connection (3.5mm Audio Cable)

For devices without wireless capabilities or when battery is low, you can use the included 3.5mm audio cable. Plug one end into the headset's audio line-in port and the other end into your device's 3.5mm audio jack.

Operating Instructions

Controls Overview (Left Earcup)

• Power Button: Press and hold to power on/off. Single press to switch between audio modes (Pure Audio / Bass Boost). Long press for Bluetooth pairing.
• Volume Up/Down: Adjusts overall headset volume.
• Chat/Game Volume Mixer: Balances chat audio and game audio.
• Microphone Mute Switch: Slide to mute or unmute the microphone.
• Mode Button: Cycles through LED lighting effects or turns off lighting.

Audio Modes

The headset features two distinct audio modes:

• Pure Audio: Provides a balanced sound profile.
• Bass Boost: Enhances low-frequency sounds for a more impactful audio experience.

Toggle between these modes using the Power button (single press).

Prismatic LED Lighting

The earcups feature signature green Afterglow lighting. Use the Mode button to cycle through different lighting effects or to switch to blackout mode, which turns off the LEDs.

Maintenance

• Keep the headset clean by wiping it with a soft, dry cloth.
• Avoid exposing the headset to extreme temperatures, humidity, or direct sunlight.
• Store the headset in a safe place to prevent damage when not in use.

Troubleshooting

• No Audio/Low Volume:
  • Ensure the headset is powered on and properly connected (wireless or Bluetooth).
  • Check the headset's volume controls and your device's volume settings.
  • If using wireless, ensure the USB transmitter is fully inserted into the console/PC.
  • If using wired, ensure the 3.5mm cable is securely connected to both the headset and the device.
• Microphone Not Working/Low Volume:
  • Ensure the microphone is securely attached and not muted (check the mute switch).
  • Verify microphone settings on your console or PC. Adjust microphone input levels if necessary.
  • Position the flexible boom microphone closer to your mouth for better pickup.
• Interference/Noise:
  • Ensure the wireless USB transmitter is fully inserted into the console/PC. Loose connections can cause electrical noise.
  • Move closer to the wireless transmitter to improve signal strength.
  • Avoid placing the transmitter near other wireless devices that may cause interference.
• Sound Reversal (Left/Right):
  • If experiencing reversed audio channels, try unplugging and re-plugging the USB transmitter or 3.5mm cable.
